Hi, My father underwent radical gastrectomy surgery for adenocaricoma of stomach. The hispathalogy report has come and stage is 2A , pT3N0 Need suggestions/views if the chemo can be delayed for 2 months as there is a important function amd father is not agreeing to take chemo before that fearing side efffects Attaching the report here.

Deciding to postpone chemo is not a correct decision.. what would be better is to discuss this personal commitment to your medical oncologist and schedule the chemo such that the patient attends the function without side effects.  Not all chemo related side effects are going to be persistent on all days. So can start chemotherapy after discussion with medical oncologist

First of all you cant delay adjyvant chenotherapy for personal reasons... High chances of relapse if you r delaying by two months.... Kindly start adjuvant chemotherapy ASAP
