Acute Pschychosis
My 26 years old son got acute pschychosis during 2014.after medication he. Was quite okay when in 2016 he again suffered since then he is on medication with 25gm clozapine in night and one tablet Ishipra 10 md in morning.
How long will this medication continue.Doctor says it will go for long because of recurrence.
How will he be able to pursue his career and marriage in future?
Presently after BTech he is preparing for Govt job exams

I can see that you are quite concerned about your son.
Since this is the second time that he had. breakdown, the medicine needs to be continued for long term. How long friends on a lot of factors such as how well he us responding to them, any further episodes, how well adjusted he was before all this started, what is his existing support and so on.
Many people who are on medications are still able to do well in life have family and job and lead a productive life.
Do not stop the medication without consulting your psychiatrist as it may increase the chances of relapse
