I have acute Prostatitis from past 3 months. There is intense rectal pain apart from very slight burning while urination.
Urine culture were done twice which showed ecoli and Klebsiella bacteria.
Latest urine routine showed WBC count as 2-4. At the start it was 8-10.
I was also given IV treatment of cefoperazome sulbactum ( magnex forte) for 5 days but still no good improvement.
Currently I am medication of niftas 100 and veltam Plus.
Kindly let me know if the medication will help in treatment of prostatitis.
Abdomen and pelvis MRI was also done. No significant issues were observed
Prostate was normal in size with minimal calcification.
