Acute anal fissure
I have acute anal fissure doctor gives me surgery opinion i have two question 1.if i had surgery how long it take to recover nd go back to work? Is there any temporary medicine for this instead of surgery because my wife in 8th month of pregnancy if i had surgery it will get trouble?

For acute anal fissure I basically do spinchterotomy with rectal advancement flap...and patient goes home third day and do all routine work as before...... Basically books say it is for chronic fissure but if your acute fissure is troublesome this is remedy otherwise medical treatment is also good...and effective.
