Hi Dr Sri Harsha. Gud to hear from you.
Vestibular schwannoma - best treatment option would be surgical excision, rather than opting for stereotactic radiosurgery. The later option is for solid tumours & where the patient is not fit for surgery.
coming to best approach - if hearing is compromised already - go for translabrinthine approach. if hearing is servicable, then go for retrosigmoid approach - but not for tumours going towards IAC from CP angle. Middle cranial fossa may not be suitable...

Suggest you go for Stereotactic Surgery wherein the tumour is bombarded with precise pulses of radiation from all directions. This ensures that only the target tissue receives very high radiation while surrounding tissues receive negligible radiation. Since the process is non-invasive, it is much safer with rapid recivery. However, it is quite expensive and very few centers are equipped with this technology.
Next Steps
I suggest you come down to HCG Hospitals, Bangalore and meet the Radiation Oncologists here before giving the go ahead for conventional surgery.
