Acne Vulgaris
I was treated for Acne Vulgaris by Isotretinoin and Clindamycin, along with Azithromycin and Vitamin suppliments. After that I was on a mild corticosteriod. Till the time the meds were on, I didn't get acne. Now, it has been three months when the medicines have stopped, the acne are popping up again and my skin has those big black raised puss filled spots and my skin has also grown dark. Do we not have a permanant cure for this?

The treatment of acne differs according to the grade of involvement. Some people have more oilyness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. Treatment depends on the grade..Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it..
