I have several acne scars on my face including pigmentation on chin area. I have tried doctors who claimed to make my skin silky smooth but all in vain.

Hello dear. It's sad to hear that. Your acne scars can be treated with some procedures.
Ofcourse, it will never be the same, baby silk smooth skin you once must have had.
