Hi..I feel you have already sought consultation from a dermatologist who has advised punch excision. You need to get a skilled dermatosurgeon who has adequate training and years of experience in managing severe acne scars. I hope you are not under the assumption that excision of a single scar will solve all your issues. You will need fractional co2 laser resurfacing to tidy up the scars on your cheeks..
