Asked for Female, 25 Years

I visited a dermato for my acne on my cheeks and forehead and he has prescribed a tablet DOXT_SL. And three ointment. I hv combination skin and my skin is dull. Is this tablet safe to consume. He has also advised to undergo a Chemical peel. What should I do. Plz suggest
