At 4 months pregnancy, red painful acne is usually due to hormonal changes. Do not self-use strong acne medicines or oral drugs without medical advice. Wash with a gentle cleanser twice daily and use a light, oil-free moisturizer. Avoid squeezing pimples. You may apply a little aloe vera gel for soothing. Since you are pregnant, treatment should be carefully selected. You may visit our clinic for safe and personalised acne management during pregnancy.
