Acne not fully control after 1.5 months
Hi, I have had acne since 9th–10th grade. Currently, it is not at its worst, but I am still getting new pimples regularly.
I have been taking homeopathic treatment for the past 1.5 months. My current medication includes:
3 small liquid bottles (I take 3 drops from each, 3 times a day, with a 10-minute gap between each)
Allen Acne Drops A34 (20 drops in half a cup of water)
There is slight improvement, but my acne is not fully controlled — one pimple heals and another appears.
I still get red/inflamed pimples (especially on nose and cheeks), along with small bumps/whiteheads and some acne marks.
My questions:
Should my current medicines be changed or dosage adjusted since new pimples are still appearing?
Is this a normal healing process or does it mean the treatment is not effective enough?
How long should I continue the same treatment before expecting proper control?
Should I consider switching to a dermatologist at this stage?
Please guide me on the next steps

Mild improvement in 1–2 months is expected, but getting new pimples regularly means your acne is not fully controlled yet. Acne usually needs a single, well-selected constitutional remedy, not many mixed medicines.

Generally acnes in this age group is due to hormones ,gut disturbance and study stress .If you can tell me in detail your general routine ,menses cycle ,bowel habits then exact homeopathic medicine can be suggested .As the condition is chronic u need to wait for minimum 3 months to see result.

Actually...your problem is quite chronic.. hence it takes little bit more time to recover
You need to stay on that medicine for at least 3 months and still not getting results then you need to consult same dr for medicine so they can increase the potency/ change the medicine, on the bases of past medicine.

First of all, having acne is very normal up to the age of 23-24, especially for females because of the hormonal changes we have.
Nevertheless, I do understand your pain. Having red and painful pimples can cause distress physically and also mentally.
A proper Homoeopathic treatment can help you in controlling the acne and the pain they are causing.
They will naturally subside once you cross the age of 24/25.
