The quality of healed ACL might not be able to help you in your sports need.
You should still try conservative treatment for 4 weeks, then start walking. To return to sports it would take you 2-3 months but you will have a idea about instability, weakness over knee when you start walking.
Next Steps
After you conservative trail, if you feel that healed ACL is not delivering as per your requirements, then you can opt for Arthroscopic ACL reconstruction.
