ACL near full thickness tear
Yesterday I meet with accident and when I walk my knee slips then I went to hospital there they have asked to take MRI and my Report says near full thickness tear anterior cruciate ligament. What should I do now need to go for surgery or can it be cured by physiotherapy treatment. Please suggest me. Herewith attached MRI report.

Give rest to the knee for 6-8 weeks to allow other injuries to heal. Then review your clinical symptoms and then decide the need for further intervention.

It would be very important to see clinically and suggest what to do. But as per your reports and age it would be wise to consider surgical option. Its very important to get it done by a good arthroscopy surgeon and later rehabilitation is also very important. Hope it helps
