Accidental inhalation of talcum powder
Hi..today my son who is 3 year old was playing with a bottle of talcum powder. By the time I saw it, he almost puffed out 70% of the bottle. I immediately took. He is fine and sleeping but I m scared to hell as I know inhalation of talcum powder is dangerous...sir should I visit any pediatrician. I am scared sir. Plz reply

Don't worry. It doesn't harm your child. Because talcum powder contains large particles which usually don't reach his lungs. For his nose you can give saline nasal drops 2drops right side and 2drops left side, three times a day for 5days..for the next 5days observe if he is developing any cold r cough. If happens visit near by doctor
