Acanthosis nigricans - Reversal period

Hi, I know Acanthosis nigricans causes dark neck, because of obsese or due to insulin resistance. My question once I reduce my weight to right BMI by maintaining decent physical activity and less carb diet, how long does it take for the dark patches around neck, underarms to get deteriorate or completely vanish ?
