There are melanocytes located in the skin that produce melanin. Melanin gives the skin its colour. In certain conditions melanocytes can become abnormal and cause an excessive amount of darkening in the colour of the skin. Causes of hyperpigmentation include- Skin inflammation, Use of certain drugs, Hormone system diseases such as Addison disease
Hemochromatosis or Sun exposure. There is nothin called blood purifiers, but sure can take antioxidants for the same. Consult a Dermatologist for the same to prevent further progression.
