Don't worry friend, don't worry it's your start, very soon you will be habitual for such episodes. It is common in medical field, try to adjust as early as possible.

It has become more common now, u need to follow few exercise to come out of this fear. You need to keep a track on your panic attacks, maitain a diary see is it improving or getting worsen day by day. Best thing you can do before sleep is meditation.
Next Steps
when you get a panic attack in between sleep you wake up and be completely awake walk arround or do something which will make you complete awake, by washing face or just going arround home taking fresh air etc. once you are awake completely then again try to sleep. if you dont fall in to sleep open up your text books😀 try this when you get the next panic attack and keep a track if it is giving you relief and good sleep.
