Doctor, I am 28 years old and am concerned about my limited body and facial hair growth. I have very sparse hair on my chest and have not yet developed a full beard or mustache. Could you please advise if this is within the normal range for my age, or if I should get my hormone levels (such as testosterone) checked? Are there any diagnostic tests you would recommend to determine the cause?

Sparse facial and body hair can be normal and is often genetic. If you also have low libido, erectile issues, infertility, or delayed puberty features, consider evaluation by expert.

Need of further tests like hormonal studies etc depends not only on body hairs but also many other things. Consult an urologist for evaluation and treatment if needed. There are people who have sparse body hairs but are perfectly normal. So don't worry. See an urologist
