Hi Yes, this drug is quite safe for long term, but long term use of Clonazepam should be avoided. These are quite cardiac safe. Escitalopram has few side effects like gastrointestinal upset, decrease libido, sedation, weight gain, carbohydrates craving,  electrolyte imbalance specially lowering of sodium and rarely serotonin syndrome. Similarly Clonazepam has abuse potential and it is habit forming, so long term use of this should be avoided or needed then it should be used under supervision and in minimum dose. Thanks and regards.
