My sister is suffering from SLE and we came to know about it yesterday.When we consulted rheumatalogist she told us that she won't be cured.She have to take medicines through out her life. My question to Practo is Can she be cured from SLE? PLEASE REPLY ME...

SLE,unfortunately is an auto immune disorder with a waxing and waning course. The progression can be SLOWED or altered, but can't be stopped completely. Keep under care of a good rheumatologist.
