Small gallstones like yours (4.6mm) that are completely asymptomatic are often managed conservatively, and Udiliv (ursodeoxycholic acid) is the appropriate medication to help dissolve cholesterol-based stones over time. The minimal increase from 4.4mm to 4.6mm over one month is not alarming. Since you are now one month post-delivery and still without any symptoms, continuing this medical approach along with periodic ultrasound monitoring is reasonable â however, the decision to continue or change treatment should be made by your treating gastroenterologist or surgeon after reviewing your full case.
Next Steps
Follow up with your doctor for a repeat ultrasound in 3 months to track stone size. If you develop upper right abdominal pain, fever, or yellowing of the eyes, seek immediate care. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.

The scan shows a few small gallstones (largest 4.6 mm) with a normal gallbladder wall and normal bile ducts. Since you are completely asymptomatic, surgery is not routinely required at present. The difference between 4.4 mm during pregnancy and 4.6 mm now is clinically insignificant and may represent normal ultrasound measurement variation.
Continue follow-up with your physician regarding Udiliv 300, as its benefit in established gallstones is limited and treatment duration should be individualized. Maintain a healthy weight, avoid very fatty meals, and stay well hydrated.
Seek immediate medical attention if you develop right upper abdominal pain (especially after meals), fever, vomiting, jaundice, or dark urine. If symptoms develop in the future, laparoscopic cholecystectomy may be considered
