Repeat test after 6 to 8 weeks. Try to control weight by diet control and regular physical exercise. Aim for slow, consistent reduction.

• Your reports show: – TSH = 1.1 → perfectly normal – Free T4 = 0.85 → very slightly below lab range (borderline)
Next Steps
• No thyroid medication needed right now • Repeat test after 6–8 weeks: – TSH – Free T4 • Check for other causes of weight gain: – Diet pattern – Physical activity – Sleep/stress – Screen for insulin resistance if needed
Health Tips
• Focus on: – Calorie control – High-protein diet – Regular exercise (most important) • Avoid assuming thyroid as cause of weight gain when TSH is normal
