Pulmonary TB management needs a plenty of healthy food along with medicines . Give anything and everything to your mother, preferably home cooked provided she is able to digest it and is not allergic to it. Keep a watch on blood sugar. Her general health is to be built up to fight TB

Buffalo milk is full of cream which can increase lipid profile level... So you can take cow milk and obviously double tonned.... Milk contains lactose so it may cause allergy. .. Curd is the best option. .....Consult me through the app for proper guidelines and diet plan

When managing diabetes and pulmonary TB simultaneously, diet plays a key role in supporting immunity, maintaining blood sugar, and aiding recovery. Milk and curd can be included, but with attention to portion and overall diet quality. Guidelines for Milk and Curd: - Buffalo milk: Higher in fat and calories than cow milk. It can be consumed in moderation if blood sugar is monitored carefully. Opting for low-fat versions can help control calories and blood sugar. - Curd/Yogurt: Provides protein and probiotics, which support immunity and gut health. Choose unsweetened curd and limit portion to ½–1 cup per meal to prevent blood sugar spikes. Other Dietary Recommendations: - Focus on small, frequent meals to maintain energy and support TB recovery. - Include protein-rich foods like eggs, dal, paneer, or lean meat/fish to help with weight gain and healing. - Include fiber-rich vegetables, fruits (in moderation for diabetes), and whole grains to stabilize blood sugar. - Avoid sugary foods, fried items, and processed snacks. - Ensure adequate hydration throughout the day.

Your concern is absolutely valid—managing both diabetes and pulmonary TB together can feel confusing, especially when weakness is present. The goal is not restriction, but smart nourishment. In TB, the body needs high protein, good calories, and immunity-supporting foods, while in diabetes we focus on controlled carbs and balanced meals. Buffalo milk & curd can be given, but in controlled portions and preferably diluted/low-fat, as excess fat may affect digestion and sugar control. Weakness usually means her diet is not adequately planned, not that foods are too limited. With the right combination, we can include: Protein-rich foods (dal, paneer, curd, sprouts) Energy foods without sugar spikes Small frequent meals to improve strength Immunity-supporting nutrients for TB recovery Every TB + diabetic patient needs a customized plan based on weight, sugar levels, appetite, and medications—general diets often lead to more weakness. If you want, I can help you with a proper structured diet plan to improve her strength without disturbing sugar levels. Feel free to connect privately.

For any medical diet it's always better to follow a proper scientific and constitution base diet. Share the sugar chart and type of tuberculosis on that basis only a best diet can be planned
