Sir , It is not neccessary that you will get HIV while having a sexual exposure . You only get HIV when you have a sexual exposure with someone who is already HIV +ve and you had the intercourse without protection . This is the only way you can get exposed to HIV THROUGH sexual exposure . About the tests , if you have HIV , it will get detected in ELISA , even if it is a minimal exposure and you have developed it . So if all tests are negetive then you dont need to worry about having HIV . We have developed antivirals , so even if you are exposed , you can be treated . The only thing you can do right now is to find out whether your parter is HIV positive or not . If not then you absolutely have nothing to worry about .
