Hello Doctor
We have been married since 1.4 years.
My wife had her 1st missed abortion surgery today. Heartbeat came at 6 weeks when gynae did 2nd usg and it was not there at 8 weeks 4 days when 3rd usg was performed. What would have been the reason for this? We want to ensure it doesn't happens again. We have done all prescribed lab tests which are all ok.

Most of the missed abortion are due to some chromosomal anomaly in the baby
For this you need to test the tissue of aborted baby or else both parents can go for karyotyping to rule out any anomalies in them along with some other blood tests.
