Abnormal TSH, Monocytes & UA levels
Hello, I just made a full blood test, all my results are in range. However, I have these 3 ones that are abnormal: - High UA of 434 umol/L (range is 202-417 umol/L), maybe because I didn't drink water in the morning - Very high TSH 7.1105 mIU/L (0.3500-4.9400 mIU/L), while Free T4 is normal (13.15 pmol/L) - High Monocytes of 0.69 or 11.9% (normal range is 2-10%) Does this talk about a Thyroid Disease? Thanks,

Your TSH is high and you may be having hypothyroidism. A detailed history regarding weight gain, intolerance to cold, constipation, lethargy, decreased appetite, low pulse rate is important. If these symptoms are present then you should be started on thyroxine . Repeat thyroid function test after 6 weeks. Rest other parameters are not significantly high. So nothing to worry.
