Kindly tell me what is there in the report...I underwent Proctectomy+Ileal pouch anal anastomosis +covering loop ileostomy on 01st Nov..Yesterday was having severe pain in upper abdomen and low stoma and gas output..admitted in emergency..Injections,Iv fluids given..Pain reduced,output and gas slowly coming..Today Abdomen X Ray done..Kindly tell me what is there in the report?If its normal then why did I have such severe pain?Kindly reply..Please help..

X ray appears normal... Sometimes stoma lumen can be blocked with stools which leads to severe pain until it gets out Once stoma lumen was cleared with stools pain and abdomen distension will relieve...
