Abdominal pain
I used to have fissure & bleeding sometimes since years. I got a surgery called Kshar sutra done in june 2025. I thought I was getting normal. But since a month again I have been getting pain & even a day if I skip laxative or sitz bath or anesthetic ointment, I end up in lot of pain. Doctor said it's because of stress. But when I had been for fever to a nearby physician, he checked & said the fissure is still there & muscle isn't relaxed. So another surgery should be done. All 4 months of pain, trauma went waste. Now, I can't go for surgery as I have lot of responsibilities at home & I've been undergoing so many surgeries since age 7 as a lorry accident survivor. I also have another neck surgery to go through. And have exams till may. So till then if there are any natural ways to relax the fissure muscle & heal it please let me know. I also used to eat lot of slate bars & shale stones. Could that have caused any other problems? I have left lower abdomen pain

Recurrent fissure after Kshar sutra can occur due to persistent sphincter spasm and incomplete healing. Strict stool regulation, adequate hydration, high-fiber diet, stress management, and regular sitz bath are essential.

Dear Madam, I have carefully read your history, and I understand how distressing and exhausting this situation must be for you — especially after undergoing surgery, dealing with persistent pain, and managing multiple responsibilities along with your health challenges. Based on what you have described, it appears that the fissure has not completely healed and the anal sphincter muscle remains in spasm. This is a common reason for persistent or recurrent fissure pain even after procedures like Kshar Sutra. When the muscle stays tight, blood supply to the area reduces, which delays healing and causes recurring pain whenever stool consistency changes or routine care is interrupted. Your history of repeated surgeries, ongoing stress, and the need to avoid further procedures at present makes it important to manage this condition in a structured, individualized, and non-surgical way wherever possible. Additionally, your past habit of consuming slate or shale substances and your present lower abdominal pain also need proper evaluation, as they may contribute to bowel irritation, nutritional imbalance, or digestive dysfunction that can interfere with healing. In such chronic and sensitive cases, treatment must be tailored to the person’s physical condition, bowel pattern, pain response, emotional stress level, and healing capacity. General advice alone is often not sufficient for long-standing fissures with muscle spasm. I would strongly recommend a detailed consultation so your complete case can be assessed properly and a personalized treatment plan can be designed to help relax the sphincter, support tissue healing, regulate bowel function, and reduce recurrence — without pushing you immediately toward another surgery unless absolutely necessary. If you wish, you may contact Health Global Homeopathy Clinic to schedule a consultation. Website: www.healthglobalclinics.com A careful, individualized approach at this stage can make a significant difference in comfort, healing, and long-term stability. Wishing you strength and recovery. Dr. Jyoti Kadkol

It needs to be treated in a holistic approach for complete recovery. Fissure and rectal issues can be well treated with homeopathic medicine and diet management effectively and without any side effects. Even if you get it operated, the chances of recurrence is high. Homeopathic medicine would be the best solution for your problem. Stress can increase the existing situation. You need an expert homeopathic physician who is a good psychiatrist or Psychologist.
Next Steps
I have been working as a homeopathic Psychiatrist and counseling psychologist for the last 18 years of experience. You can contact me through an online appointment for further assistance.

Hello, First of all, I’m really sorry you have been going through so much at such a young age. Repeated surgeries and persistent pain can be emotionally exhausting. From what you’ve described, this sounds like a chronic fissure with persistent internal sphincter spasm. Even after procedures, if the muscle remains tight, the fissure does not heal properly and pain continues especially if laxatives or sitz baths are stopped. The main issues in chronic fissure are usually: • Internal sphincter spasm • Reduced blood supply to the area • Irregular bowel habits • Stress-related tightening of pelvic muscles Since you are under exam stress and have had a long trauma history, muscle tightness can worsen. In many cases, conservative management can be tried before considering another surgery, depending on severity and examination findings. In homeopathy, we focus on: • Reducing spasm tendency • Improving healing response • Regulating bowel pattern • Addressing stress and trauma impact Regarding eating slate/shale stones..that is called pica and can sometimes affect digestion or cause abdominal discomfort, so that also needs evaluation. Your left lower abdominal pain may be related to bowel irregularity or stress-related gut sensitivity, but it needs proper case study.
Next Steps
I would strongly suggest a detailed consultation so your full history (physical + emotional) can be taken properly and a structured treatment plan can be made. You may book a consultation with me on Practo for detailed evaluation.
Health Tips
Meanwhile, you can: • Continue warm sitz baths • Avoid straining • Keep stools soft naturally (fiber + hydration) • Practice slow breathing to reduce pelvic muscle tightening • Do not abruptly stop supportive measures You are not alone in this. With the right approach, healing is possible! Take care.

Kshar Sutra is mainly used for fistula, not fissure. If you  had a chronic fissure, the real issue is usually: Internal sphincter spasm Poor blood supply to fissure area Constipation cycle If muscle is still tight, pain continues. That doesn’t mean the first surgery was “waste.” It means the underlying spasm didn’t fully resolve. Laxative → stool becomes hard → re-tear → pain Sitz bath → muscle stays tight → pain Anesthetic ointment → no temporary relief → pain So this confirms: the problem is muscle spasm + healing delay, not something dangerous. 🪨 About eating slate bars & shale stones This is called pica. Possible issues: Intestinal irritation Parasites Heavy metal exposure Constipation Left lower abdominal pain (could be colonic spasm) You should get: Hemoglobin checked Iron levels Stool examination Pica is often linked to iron deficiency.

Hello, I can understand your concern. Yes eating slate bars and other indigestibles can trigger inflammation in your body. Right now you have acute inflammation of the recto anal region and hence you have severe pain. Also, taking laxative, sitz bath and pain killers can help you temporarily but not permanently. Homoeopathy medicine treats the root cause of the issue and can cure fissure completely and permanently without any recurrence in the future. It can also relieve this acute pain and inflammation and can give you best relief. To know more and for any other concern you can call us or reach us online.

You likely still have sphincter muscle tightness, causing: Pain → spasm → poor blood flow → delayed healing. Until May: • Keep stool very soft (water + psyllium + fiber) • Warm sitz bath 2–3× daily • Practice deep breathing + pelvic relaxation Slate/shale eating (pica) can cause bowel irritation and left lower abdominal pain — check CBC and iron. I’ll advice u to get precised medicine for complete cure of Your’s with a homoeopath u feel like cosulting with Can also consult me if you feel like doing
