Hello Ma'am. Very Good evening. I'm Dr.Yogesh Kr Sharma.  As per your history given, you are suffering from lower respiratory tract infection, simply a chest infection. She needs a course of an antibiotics and other medicines for atleast initially for 5-7 days. Ma'am are you also suffering from Diabetes or Hypertension??. Severe fever will give you tachcardia means increased heart rate. Every 1 degree increase in Body temprature will increase the heart beat by 10 times and what was the previous temprature reading. Kindly come to practo chat for your treatment and counseling part as soon as possible,  because the patient is an elderly.  Further delay in treatment will land up her in hospital. So if you can treat this condition at home effectively,  then why to get admitted in hospital. Its just 2 days of history. For a time being please give her paracetamol 500 mg as required and also do cold sponging with normal water abdomen not with chilled water. Take care. Regards.
