A big tear in my right shoulder's muscle

I have a a big tear in my right shoulder's muscle, one of my doctor advise me for a surgery through lazer. Please advise if surgery is only solution for this problem, because m having too much pain in my shoulder.

It depends upon the grade of tear.. If you have complete tear then surgery will help you, need not to worry... But also refer some other Orthopedic surgeon to get clear picture whether you require surgery or not...
