Hey doc my baby is six weeks old as of Sunday born on May 28 weighing 4.05 kg and now at 6 weeks he's weighed 6.03 kg I'm worried he might be took big what can I do he is breast fed and also formula fed. Also his head is 41 cm is that normal I'm pretty worried.

Hi Mam. Birth weight of your baby is more than average. So his weight is also increasing accordingly but he still does not fall into overweight category when we plot in the growth charts . 6.3 kg would have been overweight. Also pls give breastfeeding as much as possible. Formula fed babies tend to gain more weight. Also head circumference seems to be more. What was the head circumference at birth? Who measured it?
