My baby is weeks old. From some days she is crying after 5 minutes of feed and not latching properly. If trying to feed she is crying a lot. From last days she is taking her tongue out many times. Urine and stool is ok. What could be the reason for crying?

Hello , how many weeks of age?
5 minutes is usually less time for adequacy of feeding.
Focus on 10-15 minutes of feeding in quiet , soothing and calm environment.
Reason for crying is inadequate feed likely here.
Next Steps
If baby is gaining weight - passing urine and stools well then not a major concern.
Health Tips
Try calm , Ill lighten environment, white noise and your soothing sound can prolong feeding duration and decrease crankiness
I totally understand your concern.

Hello,
Crying after 5 minutes of feed can be due to inadequate latching and position techniques and the baby getting irritable. Adequate feeding time is 15-20 minutes/ session followed 2-3 hours of quiet sleep, passing urine atleast 6-7 times / day and passing golden yellow stools.
Next Steps
For better positioning
1. Try to relax and sit in an comfortable environment
2. Try reclining position, many recliners are available online
For latching:
Best is to consult a lactational consultant in person. Check if the baby's chin is touching the breast, mouth is wide open and lower lip is completely everted.
A lactational consultant can help in reviewing some common problems like inverted nipple, retracted nipple or just improper latching
Health Tips
1. Keep yourself hydrated, take a nutritious diet rich in iron, calcium and good fats including milk and milk products, paneer, eggs, vegetables, nuts, fruits
2. Ensure every 2 hours feeding for good milk output with atleast one time of night feeds
3. Avoid bottle feeding to prevent nipple confusion
4. Keep yourself calm, stress causes difficulties in feeding
5. consult a lactational consultant and pediatrician to monitor weight and suck of the baby. Beware of danger signs: lethargy, refusal of feeds, excessive sleepiness
