6 months After TKR pain increasing
It's been 6 months after TKR surgery has performed. Her left knee is under severe pain, even she can't bend it now. Doctor has cheked for infection but it didn't occur. Pain is increasing day by day and due to her kidney problem she can't be medicated with pain killers. She is under mental trauma and willing to die rather than tolerating this pain. What to do please tell me !!

Please address her sitting environment. For all her sitting and sit to stand needs, make an environment from where she can get up easily. The weak muscles of the thigh seem to have become very stiff due to overwork of repeated sit to stand from unfavourable heights.

It’s a postoperative painful stiff knee. If infection is ruled out for sure then she must strengthen her quadriceps ,hamstrings and calf to increase range of movement. She needs physiotherapist for this but only after getting consult with Orthopaedic surgeon.
