6 mon old not smiling after viral fever
My baby (6 mon old )had high grade fever (103-104) for 3 days. For which iv antibiotics and paracetamol was given. Now he is afebrile. He is not smiling at all since 4 days and fussy when awake. Otherwise he is consolable when i hold him and sleep peacefully. He is taking feed properly and passing stool and urine normally. He responds to his name but does not give expression,

What was his CBC and CRP before starting the antibiotics? Sometimes illness can cause such response.

Don't worry it's normal only usually post viral infection mild dullness and generalised weakness will be there
