I am 5 weeks pregnant before i became pregnant my TSH was .56 I went for bloodwork yesterday and it is now 3.88 I have hypothyroidism and take synthroid .88 should my dose be increased and by how much? I had a misscariage in Jan due to hypothyroidism

In first trimester the ideal TSH levels should be less than 1.5. so at 5 weeks with TSH OF 3.88 your dose needs to step up. To 100 mag. But first do complete thyroid panel that Serum TSH, free T3 and freeT4 levels and better to consult your gynecologist
