4days baby not urinating
Hi doctors, my daughter born on 06-06-2020.  Lastlt She was pissed on 08-06-2020 around 10AM. After that she haven't. Between she cleared her motion thrice since yesterday. Every one hour she awake and cry, if her mom feed her then she start sleeping. I checked one pediatric doctor and he suggested to give 2ml water morning afternoon and evening. As I heard before water shouldn't be given for new born babies. Need urgent suggestions please. Thanks in advance.

No water Only exclusive breastfeeding If the child had passed urine once mostly the bad causes are out But you have to keep a watch... Increase feeding.... urine will increase Usually in female babies urine is passed with stool and is often missed Can keep a piece of cotton at urine area in diaper to judge she is passing urine or not
Next Steps
If abdomen is distended visit a pediatrician

Hello. The child not urinating usually has origin in improper feeding. Please visit a local pediatrician. Assess the childs feeding, watch for signs of lethargy, fever, refusal to feed.

U should check the baby 's abdomen.  If there is any fullness?? Is the baby active and playful.  Not passing frequent urine is not a good sign
