Hi All, my son will be turning 3 years on 17 july 26. His birth length was 48 cm and current height is 91.5 cm. Birth Weight was 2.6 and current is 14 kg.
Is the current height and weight normal? My husband's height is 5'3 and mine is 5'5. Our son looks small in height with his peers. Is it normal and what can be done to increase height??

Height and weight are appropriate for age with in normal graph pattern. All children of same age don’t have same growth parameters. Only good nutrition and lifestyle can give normal growth. No medication or procedure to increase height.
Greetings
Your son's weight of 14 kg is perfectly normal and sits right around the average 50th percentile. His height of 91.5 cm is slightly below average but still completely healthy, near the 25th percentile. His stature closely aligns with genetics, given that both parents are on the shorter to average side. You cannot force extra height, but you can maximize his genetic potential with proper lifestyle habits.Focus on a nutrient-dense diet rich in proteins and calcium, adequate sleep, and daily active play.
At almost 3 years, a height of 91.5 cm and weight of 14 kg are both within the normal range. Weight is appropriate, while height is on the shorter side of normal but not concerning by itself. Since both parents are relatively short (5’3" and 5’5"), genetics likely plays a significant role.
Next Steps
More important than a single measurement is the child’s growth velocity over time. If height is increasing steadily along the growth chart and development is normal, no specific treatment is needed.
Health Tips
To support optimal growth, ensure a balanced diet with adequate protein (milk, curd, eggs, pulses, paneer), regular physical activity, good sleep, and routine health checkups. Height supplements or tonics do not increase height in healthy children.
