25th day of pep (hiv) neck lymph node
Had a risky exposure ( protected sex with commercial sex worker ). At the 25th day of pep i got anxious and did an ultrasound of the neck. It was found three reactive lymph nodes of size - 1.24 cm x 0.32 cm , 0.58 cm x 0.27 cm, 0.99 cm x 0.24 cm with preserved fatty hilum. I have attached pictures of the cervical lymph nodes and how it looks, am i sero converting? Really scared.

HIV sero- conversion requires ICTC testing which is done at free of cost at various centres in government hospitals Do get one done before- PEP One test after 6months of PEP Do report other symptoms you have been having- fever/weight loss/cough if any

You need to consult superspecialist like md physician as it needs examination to detect whether  it lymphnode,  if it is lymphnode  what is the size. If its more than 3 cm  than u can go for FNAC means needle biopsy with histopathology. As u r on pep no possibility  of hiv.  Sone times  lymphnode enlarge  to protect  the victim. So no worry  at all. U r safe

No ultrasound does not suggest hiv seroconversion These lymph nodes may be due to sore throat etc

No, your ultrasound findings do NOT suggest HIV seroconversion. Your exposure was low risk, PEP was taken, and the lymph nodes are clearly reactive and benign. please consult me on practo for further management.
