Normal urinalysis for protein test is one time sample test, which is done routinely. If protein or ketone bodies is high and suspecting of any kidney disease then 24 hour protein estimation is done which is more accurate, sensitive and reliable. It shows the excretion of protein from urine in 24 hours and it reflects how the functioning of kidney. In this case, as per the report, 24 hours protein analysis not required, with the assumption that patient doesn’t having chronic kidney disease. WBC and epithelial cells are normal (hpf- high power field of microscope). This are indicator of urinary tract infection. This report is normal.
