2 week long, light periods
I started my period at 17 and it was 2-3 wks long & heavy (2 super tampons an hour). After that, and after my 1st child, I had 2 periods a year & just as long and heavy. I then got on BC pills and it regulated me, but I spotted the whole time. Now I have a copper IUD and my periods are 2 wks long: 2 days of normal/heavy flow, followed by 5 days of spotting, then an entire 7 more days of light red to brown spotting every 40 days. My dr. Is not concerned but I don't know why they're so long still!
