1st or 2nd rib
Hi, 2 months ago I noticed 1st or 2nd rib of my right side more thicker and more protruding than the left side. It feels as if its sticking out but much fatter. I have no pain on that rib but I do have chest pain on movement or pressure. Also spine pain, waist pain and diaphragm pain.

Hello, I understand you are worried about the prominence of your 1st or 2nd rib as per your history. However this could be either a sternoclavicular joint prominence or costochondral junction prominence as we have seen multiple such cases. Sometimes the ribs are more thick or prominent in visibility due to curvature. I would advice you to reach me through online consulting and take complete treatment by letting me know the exact findings and history. Consult directly with me, your orthopaedic doctor, through Practo for detail history, discussion and treatment plan. Here we can chat or can also do audio or video consultation for detailed management. Take appointment for thorough prescription and consultation. https://www.practo.com/mumbai/doctor/chintan-doshi-orthopedist/consult Thank you.
