16 week IVF pregnancy with chickenpox
My wife now 16 th week of pregnancy with IVF treatment . Two days before she had slight fever 100.5 max temperature then I admitted in hospital they given treatment. Fever cured but then started small rashes over the body spread out now third day. Doctor prescribed aciclovir 400g 4 times a day for 7 days. My request is this chickenpox would be cause any abnormally in the baby?

Before 28 weeks of pregnancy..there s no evidence of ny increase risk of miscarriage..
Risk of transmission to baby s also less..
However if there s transmission then there cn be problems with skin eye And brain..
Although its very rare..
