At 16 months, your baby’s height of 76 cm is within the normal range, but slower growth may be due to: Possible Causes: Nutritional Deficiency: Lack of calcium, protein, zinc, or vitamin D. Family History: Genetics may influence height. Chronic Illness: Conditions like malabsorption or hormonal imbalances. Growth Variations: Some kids grow slower but catch up later. Suggestions: Diet: Calcium & Vitamin D: Milk, yogurt, sunlight exposure. Protein & Zinc: Eggs, lentils, nuts, spinach. Include fruits and vegetables for vitamins. Monitor: Track height/weight every 2–3 months. Consult a Pediatrician: If growth remains slow, tests for deficiencies or hormones may be needed. Many children have late growth spurts. Focus on nutrition and regular check-ups for steady progress.
