14 months boy born with umbilic hernia
A 14 months old baby boy born with umbilical hernia...At the age of exclusive brest fedding there was no any problems... After taking palliative feed has c/o pain in abdomen , abdominal distension, vomiting & more protusion of umbilicus...... pls advice better management.... some doc advise immediate surgery to reduce last moment emergency.... Some doc suggest medical management & told protusion disappeared with time... Not need of surgery....So, pls suggest better options.. Which is Best for child

Umbilical hernia usually settle by 2year without any treatment provided it's not very big. If it doesn't by 2yr get in touch with your pediatrician or Pediatric surgeon for further course of actions​. Till then wait​.
