10 week pregnancy no heart beat in fetus

Asked for Male, 25 Years

Dear Dr. My wife is 10 week pregnant and we just went for regular checkup. Dr. Did an ultrasound and informed us the there is no heart beat in baby. She suggested us to wait two more week and if still there will be no heart beat than abortion will have to be done. Kindly suggest. Regards
