10 month baby having fever
My 10 month old daughter was having fever of around 101-102° which lasted for 3-4 days. We were giving her babygenic medicine as prescribed by our pediatrician. Slowly her fever got less and she recovered. Now again after 2 days she is having fever of 100° in evening. What is the reason for this? And what should we do now? Do we continue with same medicine?

There are certain blood tests you may need. Any other associated symptoms will be important to know. Viral fever usually lasts 3-4 days, but since its persisting, further evaluation is required. Hello, some viral fevers can be biphasic. If baby is not having any warning signs like vomiting rash, decreased urine output, fits, decreased activity.,you can continue the same medicine at 15 MG per kg per dose at maximum 4 times per day only if axillary temperature is more than 99 F
