Shelcal XT is a calcium carbonate, Vitamin D3, and zinc supplement, and it is perfectly safe to crush or chew before swallowing. Unlike extended-release or enteric-coated tablets (which should never be crushed), calcium carbonate tablets are not in that category — in fact, some calcium supplements are specifically designed as chewables. Crushing it and swallowing with water will not affect its effectiveness or cause any harm.
Next Steps
Continue taking it the way that is comfortable for you. Please consult me directly on Practo if you have any other medication-related queries.

Better do not crush it, if you find difficulty in taking tablet, switch to syrup.

Hello, shelcal XT contains vit d with calcium and methylcobalamine  in it, so crushing may change the absorbtion pattern of the tablet, also it can cause mild stomach upset. So i ll not recommend to crush it. if you are not able to take it as whole, you can take other formulations of vit d and calcium like sachet or syrup.
