Dr. Nisarg Shah's The Dental Clinic, Thane West

I live in Toronto. I came to Dr. Nisar Shah for my implant work and maxillofacial prosthodontic work on May 19, 2022.

DIAGNOSTIC SKILLS: 10/10

I was very impressed by Dr. Nisarg Shah and Dr. Rituja Shah's diagnosis done by CT scan a few days back and the assessment and the proposal they presented for my dental care.

I live in Toronto. I have done all kinds of X-rays and those X-rays did not identify what both Dr. Nisar Shah and Dr. Rituja identified. We think only a crying baby needs milk, Or only the aching tooth needs fixing. I came to implant work but then I saw through this consulting visit I need to fix a root canal work done 15 plus years back, everything has a shelf life. That was the tipping point of my 10/10 score impression of Dr. Nisar Shah. Let me validate by saying this consulting told me that it is not the sophisticated equipment that does the diagnosis but it is the expertise of the surgeon behind the medical diagnostic equipment that gives the patient total insight and treatment advice.

COST OF TREATMENT: A STEAL

Those of us who have roots in Mumbai/India and have immigrated elsewhere will know the huge difference in the cost of any dental treatment in any international country. For me, I had a serious need to fix a few implants and some root canal work that had done its shelf life. and I was postponing it due to the cost The cost of treatment at Dr. NIsarg Shah's is a steal and it is worth a few trips from Toronto and yet a big save for my hard-earned $. I hence opted for doing my upper molar extractions and implants and lower molar extraction implants and front incisor root canal curative work at Dr. Shah's clinic. Besides the cost, the mannerisms of Dr. Nisarg Shah and Dr. Rituja Shah and their soft-spoken interaction without rush was other comforting factor to opt for this dental clinic.

TIMELINESS:

The wait time to meet Dr. Shah was under 15minutes. The dates and times for future treatments are all plotted and mutually agreed to convenience both Dr & patient. The staff is professional. Never judge a book by the cover.

I have seen many high-tech dental offices in North America that actually are built from high billing. I felt that Dr. Shah's dental clinic is built with a good heart for care, and respect for the patient's needs.

QUALITY OF TREATMENT:

The extraction was actually done like plucking a ripe fruit off a tree. Really painless and without any drama of impressing the patient. It is a golden touch of the years of quality experience of a good surgeon in Dr. Nisar Shah that I experienced. If I do not share this story I would be failing in my very core human value. I am grateful for the wisdom, expertise, and workmanship I experienced.

I had a very severe wisdom tooth pain which was unbearable and also I am 7 month pregnant mother. I came across Dr. Nisarg Shah on practo while searching for best dentist. So after consulting him, I was advised with 2 options left either to wait for 4 more months or to get the tooth removed now. Dr. Nisarg Shah spoke to my gynecologist and explained the situation how bad the tooth was and how much pain I was going through, she also gave a consent to goahead for the procedure. After that My gynecologist had put me on some medication before performing tooth removal. Dr. Nisarg Shah did 3D Scan of my teeth on the day of my consultation in his own clinic which is equipped with high tech machine to see how deep the wisdom tooth is. While doing the scan, I was given protective shield to cover my tummy to protect the baby from radiations with help of 2 lovely nurses.

My scan was successful and my procedure was going to take place after 2 days till then I was on pregnnacy safe antibiotics /pain killer MOX and Dolo 650. This was the 1st time Dr. nisarg Shah was going to perform the tooth removal procedure in his clinic for pregnant lady otherwise in such situations he performs the procedure in presence of gynecologist in the centre where the delivery of the patient is registered. So on the day of procedure, I was given local anaesthesia and he told me to remain calm and relax and in just 15 mins my wisdom tooth was out successfully with less efforts without any stitches. And next day I was all fine to eat like before and the pain was vanished completely. Thanks to Dr. Nisarg Shah and team for their great work. I felt I was in right hands during this time of my period and was treated by much experienced doctor.

Honestly don't even know where to begin. I had been living with wisdom tooth pain for the longest time, going back and forth between doctors, getting opinions that ranged from "just wait" to other complicated suggestions that left me more anxious than when I walked in. I was *********** in pain, and honestly a little scared about what lay ahead.

Then I met Dr. Nisarg Shah.

From the very first consultation, something felt different. He took the time to actually sit with me, look at my scans carefully, explain my situation in a way that finally made sense, and most importantly, made me feel heard.

My case was genuinely complicated - the tooth was completely stuck sideways, dangerously close to a major nerve in the jaw, and multiple doctors before him had either avoided committing to a plan or sugarcoated the risks. Dr. Shah did neither. He was honest, clear and reassuring all at once, which is a rare combination.

The surgery was no walk in the park. Nearly 2.5 hours on the chair, a tooth that absolutely refused to come out easily, and a procedure that required a lot of precision and patience. But Dr. Shah was composed throughout, never rushed, and his experience of over 40 years showed in every step. I won't pretend it was easy, but knowing I was in capable hands made all the difference in the world.

A few days later and I'm healing beautifully. Follow up went smoothly, stitches coming out next week, and for the first time in months I feel like there's light at the end of the tunnel.

I approached the dental Clinic for a check up after I had previously experienced pain in and around my Tooth. On listening to my problems, Dr. Rituja Shah recommended to get a CT scan done to know the root cause of the problem I was facing. To my surprise, this is the only clinic pan India that offer this facility to their patients!

After a quick scan, Dr. Rituja Shah gave a comprehensive explanation of the root cause of my problem and the available solutions for me to walk pain free and smiling.

I was suggested for a Root Canal treatment with a meticulous plan rolled out. My appointments were lined up taking into consideration my time constraints. Timely appointment schedules were sent through Practo.

Dr. Rituja Shah was gentle and clinical with her work. The treatment went through in a breeze without any pain and discomfort. Kudos to her! At the same time, for my curious mind, she took efforts to explain certain things in layman’s language. That gave great comfort. The support staff is helpful and takes utmost care.

I also had a tooth extraction which was carried out by Dr. Nisarg Shah. With his expertise and experience, the operation ended in a jiffy. In no time the tooth was extracted without any pain.

All in all, I found the experience with the Dental Clinic very pleasant. They are a team of professionals who know their subject at depth but at the same time make it really easy and lucid for patients with whom they are dealing. Highly recommended for all your dental needs!
