I have met with my Doctor Manisha Ranjan on the last few days left for the c section procedure. I was nervous as usual but the doctor's calmness and support gave me confidence. She read the earlier UGC , prescription and listened to every doubt very patiently. As I have succenturiate lobe and posterior placenta so c section was only option.She was very cooperative and supportive and scheduled c section as per need. We reached Manisha Ma'am for second opinion at 35th week of my pregnancy, after my then consulting doctor started rushing us for C-section and we got to know from a friend that she is expert with NVD, so we wanted to have her opinion with our case, given my reports, if there is a chance for NVD or c-section is the only way to deliver. We were very disappointed at that time with our consulting doctor, as through our entire pregnancy journey we got the assurance that it will be NVD and towards the end of third trimester as body parameters start to change many doctors start panicking and suggest c-section as the only way out. However once we consulted doctor Manisha, all our apprehensions were alleviated, she is an excellent counselor. From our first meeting itself she instilled us with confidence that she has delivered other patients also with even more deranged body parameters naturally, and to increase our confidence she made us talk to one of her old patient.

Post the first meet, she asked us to visit three more times and she insisted on pregnancy to reach atleast 37 weeks to avoid any complications with the baby's development. While our previous doctor was forcing us to get c-section and steroids for baby because according to her pregnancy shouldn't go beyond 36 weeks otherwise it is going to be harmful for baby.

In our 3 visits she mentally and physically prepared me for delivery and I was induced at the end of 37th week. She kept a check during entire labor process as I had a long labor, and finally I delivered naturally. It was a beautiful experience for me and by husband to be in the labor room with baby. My baby was healthy and immediately shifted to my room. I couldn't thank her enough for the Godly role she played in our lives and provided us hope when there wasn't any. Post delivery also she guided us on what to expect mentally and physically, how family can support mother in post natal phase. She literally means it when she says, she wants to bring down the rate of c-section, because after my own experience I realise that in maximum cases c-section isn't even necessary but many doctors force it on us for their comfort. Even during labor when I started to lose hope, if I would be able to do it, she kept saying c-section is just a 5 minute thing and it can be done any time, which gave me confidence to continue with labor.

Thanks a lot doctor for providing quality healthcare and abling women like me with bodily autonomy at such crucial time.

My delivery was handled by Dr Manisha Ranjan. She is such a polite, genuine and phenomenal woman. She handled my complications so well and gave me confidence until the very last moment. She remembers her patient so so well and is an epitome of perfection. I highly recommend Manisha ma’am if you want your delivery and pregnancy experience to be enjoyable and relaxing.

Sharing my personal experience

I had a bad experience with my previous doctor and was looking to find out some doc who is comforting and knowledgeable at the same time. Since it was my first pregnancy I was little anxious about the delivery process and everything. Then, I saw a board of Nidan clinic in Gaur city and I saw a long queue of patients waiting to be seen by mam. I asked one lady there if the doctor is good and she told me that Manisha mam is the best. I took the appointment for next day and went to see her. I showed her all the previous files and reports and she told me politely that how the tests and scans conducted by pervious doc was needed at all. She assured me that I was fine and whatever small complications, I had was not serious to worry about for. She gave me confidence saying that pregnancy is not an ailment and asked me to do exercises. In every visit, she used to build my confidence and reassured me that normal delivery is possible and woman’s body is made to do that.

All my appointments with her lasted more than 15 mins and she used to remember every minute details. She helped me regain my lost confidence and I started doing exercises.

To my surprise my stamina increased, I forgot the minor complications and started enjoying the journey.

Then happened the d day and she delivered my baby with such an ease and poise. Because of some issues, my normal delivery was delayed and the decision of emergency c section was taken but even inside the OT, she asked me to smile. She asked me my fav song and played it to ensure that I am comfortable.

When I was pain I started yelling mummy instead of ma’am because she is such a warm personality.

She has a beautiful clinic in sector 51 as well , in gaur city as well and in motherhood. She attends patients from 10 am to 9 pm and this enables patients to reach out to her everyday at at any point in time.

Not only that she is available on call (ALWAYS) and listens to all queries. If she has to cut the call, she calls back and even replies to all the WhatsApp chats.

I am truly blessed to have her as my gynaecologist and if I plan to have second pregnancy, that will be under Manisha ma’am supervision only.

I consulted Manisha mam for my pregnancy, being my first time I was really scared and worried about how things would go, what if something wrong happens but thanks to Manisha mam she handled my worries and doubts so well throughout my pregnancy till I delivered my baby.I am really lucky that Manisha mam was my choice by God's grace.I have seen doctors doing csec delivery after trying for few hours if the patient gives up but Manisha mam is just the opposite. She will encourage you for normal delivery till the end and will keep you motivated so that you don't loose strength and hope. Mine was a high risk pregnancy with a very high chances of abortion as my body was not supporting the pregnancy but thanks to Manisha mam she handled my case so well that just after initial 3 months everything came on track and normal.She then started guiding me on how to stay healthy and normal during the pregnancy. She helped me with my diet plan, exercises so that it becomes easy for me to deliver my baby normally without effecting my health. Unlike other doctors who are and are least bothered about patients concerns and doubts, Manisha mam always listens to her patients and clears each and every doubt. Despite of her busy schedule she is never in a hurry instead gives enough time to her each and every patient.She takes effort to explain the issue to patients, encourages them to read and research about the issue and then gives medical advice. She explains every vaccination and medicine before offering. The best part is that she is always available on WhatsApp and phone for any urgent issue. She guided me and motivated me for normal delivery. It was only because of her guidance and motivation that I delivered my baby normally even after being in pain for 21 hours, if there would have been any other doctor I am sure they would have opted for csec delivery as 21 hours is too much time for a doctor to wait. But hats off to Manisha mam that she did not gave up on me, instead kept me motivated for normal delivery. I have found such a nice connection with her now, that when she said "your journey with me ends now" I did not like it at all as I feel so friendly and homely by meeting her and talking to her. She is really a gem of a person. More than a doctor she has also helped me with my post natal concerns and problems which shows her generosity towards her patients. She not only guided me on how to take care of myself and my baby but also guided my family to understand my concerns and help me with this tough phase when me and my baby both are adjusting in this new environment and new phase of life. Being a new mom sometimes it's very difficult to handle this change but if you have a doctor and a generous person like Manisha mam, it all becomes very easy.
