Sorry about the long feedback, but honestly I can't put my appreciation of Dr. Vishal Grover in 1 or 2 lines.

I recently visited India in Dec. 2017 and while I was there, decided to get LASIK done. I didn't know any good doctors there and had only few references from family or friends. So I started googling about LASIK eye surgeons. Quite a few options came up and Dr. Vishal Grover was one of them. I also read reviews about other doctors I was referenced to by friends but wasn't satisfied with their reviews. Dr. Vishal Grover was the one who had best reviews so I decided to go with him. I called his hospital and the receptionist was very friendly. I explained that I do not live in Delhi and I have to come to Delhi specially for the appointment and I only have one week or so left from my holidays in India. On my appointment day I got there bit early, I didn't had to wait till the time I was booked in. Dr. Grover saw me straight away as soon as he got into his office. I explained him what I needed and how much time I had. He told me that one week is not enough but he will see what he can do and but first he had to test my eyes to check whether I qualify for the operation or not. He started doing all the checkups straight away (putting in different eye drops etc.) and fitted me in between his other appointments as he was checking my eyes every 20-25 minutes. His staff was very friendly and very accommodating. He told me about different types of surgeries; expensive ones too. But suggested I should go with less expensive one as the end results in both surgeries are the same. I was so pleased that he wasn't trying to make $$ out of me.

On the surgery day while I was operated on he was explaining everything as the surgery was being done. He checked my eyes straight away after the surgery and the way he was telling me about after care routine and what I can and can't do was showing that he genuinely cares about his patients.

I had booked in a follow up appointment with him the day I was flying out of Delhi. Again, I reached Delhi few hours early and I called in his hospital to confirm that Dr. Grover will see me if I come early before my appointment. The staff told me that Dr. Grover is not in as his mum had passed away a day ago :( I told the staff that I had a LASIK follow up and I am flying out tonight. He said Ok, I can come in and he will call Dr. Grover. Dr. Grover came in to only see me that day. Honestly, Guys who does that these days. He could have easily decided not to come as he had a genuine reason. And I would had to leave without any follow up prescriptions etc. So much in gratitude and salute to him for his honesty towards his work. He is an example to other doctors in India. I felt sorry too that he had to come to see me when he was still mourning his mum. And he didn't charge me anything for any follow up appointments. Any number of five stars feedback is not enough to appreciate the goodness of Dr. Vishal Grover. Such a good man and an exemplary Doctor!!

Dr. Vishal Grover is a very good doctor who takes personal interest in every patient. He is very patient and thorough in his approach. I've been seeing him for a long time and highly recommend him.
